Connection
The dialler always tries to automatically detect the best
connection method in the following order:
(1) WiFi - for WiFi enabled devices
(2) Direct TCP - a connection to be opened
from the BlackBerry smartphone without using BlackBerry MDS. Users
who cannot establish WiFi connection are advised to use Direct
TCP.
APN
- Access Point Name.
These settings should be setup only if you are using Access Point
for connection. However, this method requires a few configuration
steps in phone settings: under Options
> TCP/IP - enable APN Settings (the
APN name of your network provider, user name and password fields
must be supplied, if necessary) optionally register host routing
table: Options > Host Routing Table > BB menu button
> Register Now (phone restart might be required afterwards)
Note:
If there are flashing arrows in the application's right
upper corner while transferring any data (i.e. registration procedure,
calling), your internet connection is successfully established.
No Connection through BIS or BES
The
dialer cannot operate on connections provided by Blackberry Internet
Service (BIS) and Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES).
The easy-VOIP account username and password need
to be entered, and then you can make your call as you would normally
through the easy-VOIP
service.
International numbers are dialled with the international code (without
00). Example, to call India you would dial 91xxxxxxxxxx Please remember
to add 44 before calling any UK number. Example, to call our customer
service number in the UK dial +44 844 804 2802.
easy-VOIP

per minute! (less than 0.5p in UK currency). Click here
